EUDEMON present in the presentation of conclusions of "Renovables with the Territory"

Jaume Moya, from EUDEMON, participated in the presentation in Madrid of the conclusions of the third phase of the project "Renovables amb el Territorio". This stage has deepened the study of mechanisms of effective and real participation in the deployment of renewable energy plants on the territory and the creation of a local development fund that conveys the return of benefits.

Regarding the progress in mechanisms of social participation introduced in the DL 22/25 GC, we publish an article in Nació Digital on the importance of opening processes of information and citizen dialogue in the earliest phases of the projects of implementation of renewables in the territory and its expression as a tool of social participation and citizen license.

Workshops on the deployment of photovoltaics in the Gironès and the Empordà

On 28 and 29 November, Eudemon held three sessions of citizen debate on the deployment of photovoltaic energy in the territory. Rupià (Baix Empordà), Madremanya (Gironès) and Navata (Alt Empordà) have been the municipalities where the citizen dialogue acts have been carried out, with the participation of about sixty neighbors. Each session consisted of five workshops, debates and role-playing practices, especially created by the sites, in search of consensus for a municipal boost of renewable energy in a public, transparent, fair and ethical way. At the beginning of 2026 the day will continue with new sessions of account performance and validation of the conclusions. The activity has been an initiative of the Diputació de Girona, the respective Country Councils and the company Km0 energy.
